TOILET TRAINING WORKSHOP
A workshop, "Toilet Training" has been planned for:

This single session, two hour workshop covers:
When is the right time to commence toilet training?
What are the toilet training readiness skills?
How to start toilet training?
How to make a smooth transition from potty/nappy to toilet?
Strategies to overcome toilet refusal.
This is for adults (i.e. no children) and numbers are limited so bookings are essential. Contact Margaret or Linda on 3245 7633.
PARENT CONNECTION GROUP
Parents Connection Group is a chance for parents/grandparents and carers to meet in an informal way to chat, share ideas, learn new skills and/or gather information. This group has been organised in response to feedback provided by parents in the Toddler Tactics courses in 2006 where participants requested a group be organised, which would provide support and connection with other parents.
This will also include either a craft activity or a guest speaker as an added interest to everyone. A light supper will be provided prior to the group starting.
The group will meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month (excluding public and school holidays).
Time: 7.00pm—8.00pm
(6.45pm for a cuppa)

NEW PARENTS MORNING TEA
This morning tea has been organised in response to enquiries from parents who wished to connect with other parents with young babies. The group will meet the second Monday of the month (excluding public and school holidays).
Numbers are limited and bookings are essential.
Time: 10.00am—12 noon
Venue: Redland Community Centre
29 Loraine Street, Capalaba.
It is hoped that this morning will provide an opportunity for parents, with new babies to come together, chat and seek out other information that will be of benefit to them.
MUSIC & SONGS
Redland Community Centre Toddler Tactics with the assistance of Jo Davies, who is a Kindermusik Educator, will be putting together this group on the 3rd Monday of the month (excluding school and public holidays) for children (18mths - 5 years).
Time: 9.30am—11.00am
Venue: Redland Community Centre
29 Loraine Street, Capalaba.
Cost: $5 per family.
The morning will commences with introductions and morning tea for the children. Jo then leads the music program where the parents and children will be encouraged to interact and experience the fun and value of music and song. The children will then be given the opportunity of creating a musical instrument to take home.
Numbers are limited to 12 participating children so bookings are essential.
